IMPORTANT ZA Samples for TellmeGen - New Protocol for Know Yourself and Know Your Dog Tests
This new protocol has been confirmed by our USA Senior Management and applies exclusively
to customers in South Africa. It does not affect customers from any other country.
Reason for the Change
Tellmegen is currently facing logistical challenges in transporting samples directly from
customers' homes to their laboratory in Spain. To streamline the process and ensure smoother
operations, we have centralized sample collection and shipment.
Services Affected
This new protocol applies specifically to the following services:
- Customer Communication
- Tellmegen will receive return courier requests directly from South African customers.
- Tellmegen will instruct custoemrs to scan and email their signed consent forms
to info@easydna.co.za before proceeding with sample submission.
- Sample Shipment Process
- easyDNA CSR will instruct Customers to arrange their own courier service to send their
samples locally to the following EasyDNA South Africa address:

- Tracking and Coordination
- Tellmegen will CC info@easydna.co.za in all correspondence with customers regarding
sample shipment.
- Once received, samples will be consolidated and transported to our Texas location for
processing.
- Batching and Forwarding to Tellmegen
- The EasyDNA administration team will batch KYS / KOKO samples and send them to
Endeavor Texas for further forwarding.
- Once at Endeavor Texas, the administration team will request Tellmegen to provide an
AWB (Air Waybill) for the shipment of these samples to their California location. This
ensures that EasyDNA does not incur any shipping costs for this process.
Important Notes
This protocol is effective immediately and must be followed for all Know Yourself DNA Test and
KnowYourDog Genetic & Breed Test orders from South Africa.
The process for KYS / KOKO Kit customers from other regions remains unchanged.
Any deviations or issues related to South African samples should be reported to
info@easydna.co.za for resolution.
