This catalogue offers a complete overview of the Paternity & Relationship DNA analyses available to our resellers
and agents. It is designed to support your sales efforts and promote our services by providing clear, structured
information on each analysis.
The catalogue is divided into three main sections:
Paternity & Relationship Tests
Home Paternity Test
The Home Paternity Analysis determines whether an alleged father is the biological father of a child by examining 21
genetic markers. This analysis provides results with 99.99% accuracy. Sample collection is performed using a simple,
non-invasive oral swab, allowing you to collect samples in the comfort of your home. The process is straightforward,
and detailed instructions are provided to guide you through each step.
Turnaround Time: Results are available within 3 to 5 working days from receipt of samples at the laboratory.
Legal Paternity Test
The Legal Paternity Analysis determines whether an alleged father is the biological father of a child by examining 21
genetic markers. This analysis follows a strict Chain-of- Custody procedure, ensuring that the results are legally
admissible in courts and recognized by government agencies. Sample collection is conducted by an independent third
party, such as a medical practitioner or qualified nurse, who verifies the identities of the participants and oversees the
process to maintain the integrity of the samples. This analysis is suitable for legal matters including child custody
disputes, child support cases, inheritance claims, and immigration applications.
Turnaround Time: Results are available within 3 to 5 working days from receipt of samples at the laboratory.
Immigration DNA Test
The Immigration DNA Analysis is utilized to establish biological relationships for immigration purposes when
traditional documentation is insufficient or unavailable. This analysis can confirm various familial connections,
including paternity, maternity, siblingship, and grandparentage. Conducted by an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory, the
results are recognized by the UK Home Office and the Ministry of Justice, ensuring they meet
legal standards for immigration applications. Sample collection follows a strict chain-of-custody protocol, typically
performed by a medical professional or at a UK embassy or consulate if participants reside outside the UK.
Turnaround Time: Results are available within 3 to 5 working days from receipt of samples at the laboratory.
Forensic Testing
The Forensic DNA Analysis is designed for situations where standard oral swab samples are unavailable. This analysis
can utilize various non-standard samples, including hair, blood stains, semen, fingernail clippings, and more, to extract
DNA profiles. Once a DNA profile is obtained, it can be used for paternity testing or other DNA analysis. It's important
to note that the success rate of DNA extraction varies depending on the sample type. For instance, blood on filter
paper has a success rate of 90% or higher, while blood stains on fabric have a success rate between 60-90%. Each
sample type may incur additional costs.
Important Note: Consent and photographic identification from all parties are required to perform an analysis with a
non-swab sample. It is a criminal offense to test a person's DNA without their informed consent. Samples submitted
without full consent and identification cannot be processed. In cases involving minors, consent can be provided by
individuals with parental responsibility.
Turnaround Time: Results are available within 5 - 10 working days from receipt of samples at the laboratory. Please
note that using forensic samples may lead to an increase in turnaround time.

Siblings DNA Test
The Siblings DNA Analysis determines whether two individuals are full siblings, half siblings, or unrelated by
examining their genetic profiles. This analysis calculates a siblingship index to assess the likelihood of a biological
relationship. Including the DNA sample of a known mother can significantly enhance the accuracy of the results.
Turnaround Time: Results are available within 5 to 7 working days from receipt of samples at the laboratory.
How Do I Understand Results for a Sibling DNA Test?
The probability of relationship (PRI) is given as a percentage in your sibling DNA test results report. You can interpret
your results based on the following:
Aunt & Uncle DNA Test
The Aunt & Uncle DNA Analysis, also known as an avuncular test, assesses the likelihood that an individual is
biologically related to their niece or nephew by comparing their genetic profiles. This analysis is particularly useful
when the alleged parent isunavailable for testing. Including the DNA sample of the child's known parent is strongly
recommended to enhance the accuracy of the results.
Turnaround Time: Results are available within 5 to 7 working days from receipt of samples at the laboratory.
Mitochondrial DNA Test
The Mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) Analysis determines whether two or more individuals share a common maternal
ancestor by examining their mitochondrial DNA, which is inherited exclusively from the mother. This analysis is
particularly useful for individuals seeking to confirm maternal lineage relationships, such as siblings verifying if they
share the same biological mother. It's important to note that while this analysis can confirm a shared maternal
lineage, it cannot specify the exact nature of the relationship (e.g., siblings, aunt/uncle, grandmother).
Turnaround Time: Results are available within 20 to 30 working days from receipt of samples at the laboratory.
Y Chromosome Test
The Y Chromosome Analysis determines whether two or more males share a common paternal lineage by
examining their Y chromosome profiles. Since the Y chromosome is passed virtually unchanged from father to son,
males from the same paternal line will have matching Y chromosome profiles. This analysis is particularly useful for
confirming relationships such as brothers, paternal cousins, or other male relatives. It's important to note that females
do not possess a Y chromosome; however, they can participate indirectly by involving a male relative from the
paternal line in the analysis.
Turnaround Time: Results are available within 5 to 7 working days from receipt of samples at the laboratory.
Genetic Reconstruction Test
The Genetic Reconstruction Analysis is designed to determine if a child is biologically related to direct blood relatives
on the alleged father's side when the father is unavailable for testing. This analysis involves comparing the child's DNA
with that of at least two or three close paternal relatives, such as the alleged father's parents or siblings. Including the
mother's DNA sample is recommended to enhance the accuracy of the results.
Turnaround Time: Results are available within 7 working days from receipt of samples at the laboratory.
DNA Maternity
The DNA Maternity Analysis is designed to confirm whether an alleged mother is the biological mother of a child by
comparing their genetic profiles. This analysis guarantees a 99.99% probability of maternity inclusion and 100% for
exclusion. It is particularly useful in cases such as adoption reunions, immigration applications, and legal matters
requiring proof of maternity. Sample collection is performed using a simple, non- invasive oral swab, allowing for
convenient and painless collection in the comfort of your own home.
Turnaround Time: Results are available within 3 to 5 working days from receipt of samples at the laboratory.

Infidelity DNA Testing
Semen Detection Test
This analysis is designed to detect the presence of semen on items such as clothing, underwear, or bed
sheets. It is a presumptive test that screens for the protein p30 (also known as prostate-specific antigen),
which is found in seminal fluid. The test is non-DNA based and does not identify the source of the semen.
Important Note:
This test does not provide DNA analysis and cannot determine who the semen belongs to. It simply confirms
or excludes the presence of semen on the submitted item.
Turnaround Time:
Results are available within 10 working days from receipt of samples at the laboratory.
Infidelity DNA Test
This analysis is used to determine whether foreign DNA is present on suspicious items such as underwear,
tissues, or bedsheets. It identifies biological material (e.g. semen, saliva, or hair) and compares the DNA to a
reference profile if provided. The test can help answer questions related to suspected infidelity but results
must be interpreted carefully due to environmental contamination risks.
Important Note:
This is a DNA-based test, unlike the semen detection test. It does not prove infidelity directly. it only detects
the presence of DNA and, if a reference is provided, whether it matches.
Turnaround Time:
Results are available within 10 working days from receipt of samples at the laboratory.
Forensic DNA Samples - Guidelines and Terms
Prenatal Tests
Baby Gender Test
The Advanced Baby Gender Analysis determines the sex of your unborn baby by
analyzing fetal DNA present in the mother's blood. This analysis can be performed as early as 7 weeks into pregnancy
and offers an accuracy rate of 99.5%. A small blood sample (7 to 10 ml) is collected via a standard venipuncture
procedure, ensuring minimal risk of contamination. This early determination allows expectant parents to plan and
prepare ahead of time.
Turnaround Time: Standard results are available within 4 - 7 working days from receipt of samples at the laboratory.
Non-Invasive Prenatal Paternity Test
The Non-Invasive Prenatal Paternity Analysis determines the biological father of an unborn child by analyzing cell-
free fetal DNA (cffDNA) present in the mother's blood. This analysis can be performed as early as 9 weeks into
pregnancy and offers a 99.9% accuracy rate. A standard blood sample is collected from the mother, and cheek swab
samples are collected from the alleged father. This non-invasive method eliminates the risks associated with
traditional invasive procedures like amniocentesis or chorionic villus sampling, ensuring the safety of both mother
and fetus.
Important Note: This analysis cannot be performed in cases of in vitro fertilization (IVF), twin or multiple pregnancies,
or when the alleged fathers are close blood relatives.
Additionally, the test is not suitable if the mother is suffering from cancer, pre- eclampsia, or has had a recent blood
transfusion, bone marrow, organ transplant, or stem cell therapy.
Turnaround Time: Results are available within 7 working days from receipt of samples at the laboratory. An express
testing option is also available, providing results in 4 working days for an additional fee.
